Hematite
Hematite is a trigonal aggregate of iron-oxyde, its hardness is about 5 - 6,5. 
Hematite ist a dark-grey to black stone, and when it is grinded, the cooling-water is coloured blood-red, that´s why it is also known as blood-stone. 

Sources of  Hematite are known in England, India, Brazil and New Zealand.
