Lapis Lazuli
Lapis Lazuli is a mineral aggregate of the mineral species  lazurite, augite, diopside, hauyne, pyrite and calcite. All minerals form  weak blue to dark blue rock with golden pyrite and white calcite-inclusions, its hardness is about 5.5 - 6. Both its colour and the amount of  inclusions are variable and determine its price.

Lapis Lazuli occurs in Afghanistan, Russia and Chile.
