 Turquoise
is a bluish, greenish triclinic
mineral-aggregate of copper-bearing aluminium-phosphate and occurs near
copper-deposits as a weathering-product.
Its hardness is about 5,5 - 6, its spectrum of colours reaches from a weak blue to a dark bluish green. Turquoise occurs in the USA, Mexico, Egypt and
China.
